The Wireframe operation converts edges to tubes and points to spheres, creating the look of a wire frame structure in rendering.
Wireframe works only with polygons and/or particles as input.
Use the Convert Line SOP to create a line segment for each edge in incoming polygons.
Use the Ends SOP set to Unwrap U to open each of the closed polygons into an open curve that includes the start and end points.
Subset of geometry to convert.
Radius of individual wires used in construction.
Places spheres at locations of points.
Places endcaps on tube geometry.
Removes the original geometry.
The following examples include this node.
This example shows how you can use the Apply Relationship DOP to add pin constraints to wire objects.
This example demonstrates the two functions of the Curvesect SOP, cut and extract.
It also illustrates how these two functions can be applied to an animation at the SOP and POP levels.
The information extracted by the Curvesect SOP during geometry collisions will be used to drive particle birth.
