How to save presets

This example will explain how to save a preset in a Transform SOP's Pivot parameter. This workflow can be applied to other nodes.

Note

Saved presets are node specific.

  1. Create a Transform SOP.

  2. Type an expression in one of the parameter fields. For example, $CEX, $CEY, $CEZ in the Pivot field.

  3. Click the gear menu and choose Save Preset.

  4. Give the preset an name, for example center_pivot and click Save Preset.

Now each time you want to center the pivot of a Transform SOP, click the gear menu and select center_pivot. For more information see the save preset dialog help.

Tip

You can removed the preset by clicking the gear menu and choosing Delete Preset. This will open a delete preset dialog where you can select the preset you want to remove.
