Render region
Lets you drag a box in the viewer to render inside.
How to
The Render operation allows you to visualize the rendered scene in a portion of the 3D viewer.
-
Drag out a rectangle in the viewer to select the region to render.
-
The pop-up menu on the operation toolbar above the viewer lets you choose which render driver to use.
The default renderer will not render with motion blur or depth of field. To render with these effects, create or choose an existing render drive with those effects turned on. See the rendering section for more information.
-
When Transparency is on (the default), transparent areas of the render do not overwrite the viewer, giving the effect of rendered objects alongside the normal viewer graphics such as the grid.
Notes
-
The rendered image will update automatically as you make changes to the scene elements or to the viewing position.
To re-render the region, click Re-render in the operation toolbar above the viewer.
-
No shadow/reflection maps will be auto-generated by the render state. All maps must be pre-rendered for correct shading to occur.
