Audio Period channel node
Determines the period of a possibly repeating input waveform.
This CHOP determines the period of a possibly repeating input waveform. It can output a single period of the waveform, or the period value (as a single sample channel).
The period of the waveform is determined by comparing successive cycles to one another and computing the difference. The period with the lowest difference is selected as the overall period of the waveform. Periodic waveforms with constantly changing envelopes will not be detected well.
Parameters
Channel Output | Determines the output to produce:
| ||||
Min Cycle Length | The lower bound of the cycle period to detect (in Units).
Max Cycle Length | The upper bound of the cycle period to detect (in Units).
Test Cycles | The number of cycles to compare against. If you get 2 or 3 cycles output instead of 1, increase this value. If no period can be detected (period = input channel length), lower this value. |
