This tool is useful for manually splitting polygons.
Using PolySplit
| To... | Do this |

Divide a polygon | Select the polygon you want to split. Click the  PolySplit button on the Polygon tab. Click  the edges and or vertices to add points to the split-path and press Enter when finished.

Slice a polygon equally | Select the polygon you want to split. Click the PolySplit button on the Polygon tab. Change the Path Type from Shortest Distance to Quad Strip on the operation controls toolbar or parameter editor. Turn on the Close Path checkbox. Place one point on the polygon and press Enter.
