colorsettings command

Changes the gamma and/or LUT on various UI gadgets.

  1. colorsettings [-s] [-p] [-i] [-g gamma] [-l lut]

This command changes the LUT and gamma settings on either color pickers, the ip Interactive Render device or the Save Image… dialogs. At least one of -s, -i or -p must be specified. If no changes are applied, colorsettings displays the current LUT and gamma settings, depending on the -s, -i or -p flags.

Options

-g gam

Set the gamma to gam

-l lutfile

Set the LUT (lookup table) to lutfile

-p

Set the LUT/gamma on all Color Pickers and Swatches.

-s

Set the LUT/gamma parameters in all the COP Save Image… dialogs.

-s

Set the LUT/gamma parameters in the ip device options, so that all interactive renders through this device have those gamma/LUT settings applied in Mplay. If the gamma is set to 0 for ip, then no gamma override will occur; whatever gamma MPlay starts with (or is currently using) will be used.
