mousepath expression function

Returns the node path of the pane currently under the mouse pointer.

If this function is executed when the mouse pointer is not over any pane (such as when it is outside the Houdini window) an empty string is returned. An empty string is also returned when this function is executed within non-graphical Houdini applications such as hscript.
