= How to |> customize particle interaction = There are several ways of making particles interact with objects as well as themselves. The [Drive Particles|/shelf/driveparticles] tab on the shelf allows you to manipulate particle systems by simply selecting a particle system and clicking a tool. Some specific interactions could include: * Attracting or repelling particles using the [Attractor|/shelf/attractor], [Follow|/shelf/follow], [Torque|/shelf/torque], [Orbit|/shelf/orbit], or [Interact|/shelf/interact] shelf tools. * Control how particles act when they interact with objects using the [Creep|/shelf/creep] or [Collision|/shelf/collision] shelf tools. * Apply forces to particles using the [Gravity|/shelf/gravity], [Noise|/shelf/noise], [Force|/shelf/force], [Fan|/shelf/fan], [Wind|/shelf/wind], or [Drag|/shelf/drag] shelf tools. * Eliminate particles when a condition is met using the [Kill|/shelf/kill] shelf tool. * Transfer point or vertex attributes from reference geometry onto particles using the [Attribute Transfer|/shelf/attribtransfer] shelf tool. * Change a particle’s diffuse color and/or alpha using the [Color|/shelf/color] shelf tool. * Replace each particle with a shape or image using the [Instance|/shelf/instance], [Render|/shelf/render], or [Sprite|/shelf/sprite] shelf tools.
