You need to create a soft body object (wire or cloth), a constraint, and an RBD object before you can use this tool. This tool keeps the same distance between the constraint and the rigid body's pivot point during simulation.

This can be used, for example, to simulate a kite with a tail (wire) blowing in the wind.

Using Attach Constraint to Rigid Body

  1. Click the Attach Constraint to Rigid Body tool on the Wires or Cloth tab.

  2. Select the constraint to parent and press Enter to confirm your selection.

  3. Select the RBD object to constrain to and press Enter to confirm your selection.
