Biovision .bvh mocap bone padder

This perl script will add a redundant bone to the end of each skeleton branch since the houdini conversion script mcbiovision drops the last bone in any branch. You get your fingers, toes and heads back!

$ bvhpad.pl orignal.bvh > padded.bvh

$ mcbiovision padded.bvh

My perl is so rusty the engine has fallen out, so caveat emptor. Most especially if your motion data lines have a leading space it screws up horribly. Someone fix that.. please?

This Digital Asset is an example of quick and efficient viewing of the large amount of information from the current Houdini session in the Houdini Help Browser. It also provides one-click navigation to any part of the current .hip file. The information can also be written out to disk for further tasks.

These concepts can be extended to perform more complex tasks on OPs within a .hip file from the help browser.

Orient one model to another at sop level using prim normal and center. Like a align but not using uvs.

Completely rewritten - no longer uses dihedrals to calculate the orientation, this means it is stable when you animate the aligning poly meshes. Also fixed the bug that Jason mentioned.

Oops forgot to wire up the translate parameter. This has now been fixed.

SSS Sop

A quick and dirty sub-surface scattering method. It uses a simple dipole calculation to add an attribute to the geometry which can then be picked up in a shader for super speedy render times. Good for large geometry and surfaces with large scattering distances.

This is an update for my old odForce version, it now uses point clouds to speed up the final calculation. This could be further improved by re-writing in the HDK but for now it works ok.
