Hi,
since I switched my dual monitor setup, some houdini windows (e.g. the opening dialog or the channel editor) open outside the desktop. Houdini seems to be the only app with this behaviour.
The windows re-appear inside the viewable area when I switch from the new setup (monitors side-by-side) to the old one (monitor 1 above monitor 2) and back again.
Is there a reset-option?
Cheers,
Marc

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.
I just installed Houdini for the first time.
Windows 7 64 bit
AMD Phenom II
ATI Radeon HD 4300
8Gb Ram
I am running dual monitors a 25“ and 19”
Windows show the dialogue boxes open but they are apparently off screen? It does this with all dialogue boxes?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

returning to this topic… the link above is broken*
So how do you retrieve a window whose handle is outside of screen area?
just did “tear off pane tab copy” and Houdini (15.0) dropped the window on the upper right with the window bar off screen. No access!
*which is why link only answers are problematic. link and explain if you want your answer to last!

Answer:
Find the stranded panel under the Task Bar icon,
right click,
select move,
move with arrow keys!
