Every year, the SIGGRAPH conference brings industry and academia together to nurture innovation and excellence in computer graphics. This year in New Orleans, Side Effects Software put education in the forefront. The Houdini Education Booth Aliza Sorotzkin, Training and School Accounts Manager and Peter Robinson, Senior Trainer were on hand to speak with schools about learning and teaching Houdini. Many educators dropped by to learn how Houdini could give their students a solid CG education while building a bright career right out of school. Free training DVDs and T-Shirts were also handed out at the booth. It was great to see everyone on the show floor! Demo Suite Our meeting room was on-site at the New Orleans Conference Center. Private demonstrations were arranged for studios who wanted to take a look at Houdini and its latest features. SIGGRAPH 2009 Reception Sponsor Side Effects was also pleased to sponsor this year's SIGGRAPH 2009 Reception on Thursday, August 6 2009 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
