Toronto Technical Evening: TouchDesigner by Derivative Greg Hermanovic, (founder/co-owner SESI and Derivative) and Derivative’s Markus Heckmann will show TouchDesigner 077, a procedural tool for authoring interactive 3D applications. TouchDesigner lets you build and integrate 2D, 3D, audio and other media into interactive 2D and 3D art, visualizations, realtime puppeteering, large-scale multi-projections, interactive surfaces, augmented reality, user interface prototypes, and more. For this session, Greg and Markus will show TouchDesigner’s product architecture and reverse-engineer the making-of some diverse projects, large and small that utilize TouchDesigner. The presentation will run from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
