This short piece is a visual essay created by Eli Guerron.
Eli created this using Mantra's Physical Based Rendering for the low light shots. He also used Houdini for the metaball simulation and had taken the point cloud sub-surface scattering approach for all the sub-surface scattering effects. Particle effects were also employed creating the environment for a few shots.
