|
|
Hi, I'm using the glue adjacent tool on the toolbar, and I'm trying to use a primitive attribute "strength" to animate the strength of the glue from -1 to 0.
However, no matter where I try adding the attribute, it doesn't seem to feed in the animated value. I've tried changing the default operation on the glue network constraint, as well as adding it in the sop network that gets automatically created, but to no avail.
This is probably easy to do, and I'm just overlooking something simple.. |

| Take a look at glue network constraints - this obeys the strength attribute applied to primitive line segments that are the constraints. |

does one can share any simple-basic example of how glue network constrain works? how to setup and constraint network in SOP? I followed documentation with no success. _________________ its all about visual effects |

I think using Shelf "glue adjacent tool" gives you simple example if your scene is simple
If you want to change attribute let's say strength, go to the SOP that shelf tool creates, add "attribute create" after the OTL, set the class to prime and set correct attribute name and value, go back to DOP's and change Glue Net work Constraint's constraint network path to your attribute create or end of the SOP. (Using shelf automatically set the path to OTL so).

thanks for your reply, my question was really stupid, as I have already used the shelf tool. _________________ its all about visual effects |
