Pyro sim not inheriting velocity from packed primitives?

Hi guys,

I can't seem to get a pyro sim to inherit the velocity of packed primitives used in an RBD simulation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached are two files - PYROsetup.hip contains a pyro sim which currently does not seem to inherit the velocity of the cached RBD packed primitive sim that was originally setup in RBDsetup.hip

I think, when u use the shelf tool to create a packed primitive, a windows pops up telling you, that packed prim simulations can not influence some solvers. I think, the reason for this, is that the attributes of a packed primitive are being interpreted a bit differently than of a normal rbd geo. My suggestion would be, that you either try to cache on disk, unpack and then recalculate the velocities with trail sop or just use normal rbd's. I would love to hear how more advanced users would resolve this issue tho… :idea:
