Hi guys,
I'm just finishing my Ba on Computer Visualisation and Animation at the NCCA, Bournemouth, and have just put together a short reel which mostly shows work i did while on the course and most of it is done in Houdini. Sidefx forums and tutorials have been of tremendous help throughout my learning of Houdini and requires a big thank you

I'm looking for a job now as a Junior Houdini FX TD and hope to find one within the UK. If anyone's interested, please send me an email or PM.
Cheers,
Azhul Afeeq. |

Hello Azryle, little question on your fracture asset. Does it fracture the model to achieve dried-out badlands or it actually simulates fracturing as well?
and good job on your reel!

Heya eitht,
Thanks for the comments
Atm all it does is fracture the model to achieve the badlands sorta look.
However if the user requires there's a means to fill in the terrain with a separate group of geo which the user could run a simulation to create bursts along the surface and the fractured terrain would be left behind where bursts have occurred. I hope that made sense :S
Cheers,

You mean the fracturing terrain will open up and reveal the static terrain create via your asset? oO"

yeah pretty much. the asset just creates different groups of meshes for the static terrain and fracturing terrain.
