i want to get the envelope surfaces for a group of intersecting boxes. However, the cookie node didn't seem to work... the internal surfaces are still there.

May I have some suggestions for this kind of task in general?

thanks!

Each piece in turn please.

The Cookie SOP works best when you can feed it two pieces at a time. It doesn't know how to resolve successive pieces in a single input.

It is common to wrap the Cookie SOP in a ForEach SOP to process multiple chunks each in a successively named group.
