|Houdini 5.1.25||Everyone take a deep breath: the default scene with the logo, ground, and sky is no more. Houdini now starts with a clean slate -- just three lights, an ambient and a camera.||Fri. February 15, 2002|
|Houdini 5.1.25||Added the HOUDINI_UI_SATURATION environment variable, which reduces or increases the color saturation of Houdini's user interface. |Houdini 5.1.24|| It's a cleaner new world (to the user, at least): the MAT, TOP, and COP entries have been removed from the navigation menu. To enable them, you must set an environment variable called HOUDINI_COPTOPMAT.
The three editors are still there even if not visible. By Houdini 6, however, they (and the whole code behind them) will be completely removed from the software. Then we will also eliminate the HOUDINI_COPTOPMAT environment variable.

By default, they are all set to 1 and applied to the UI colors in the order listed above. Only UI gadgets are affected; all viewports, previews, ramps and color indicators are not modified.
