hapi.setAttributeIndexedStringData function

Set attribute string data by index.

Usage

setAttributeIndexedStringData(session: hapi.Session, node_id: int, part_id: int, name: str, attr_info: hapi.AttributeInfo, string_array: list of const char *, string_count: int, indices_array: list of int, indices_start: int, indices_length: int) → bool

Set attribute string data by index.

session

The session of Houdini you are interacting with. See hapi.Session for more on sessions. Pass None to just use the default in-process session.

node_id

The SOP node id.

part_id

Currently not used. Just pass 0.

name

Attribute name.

attr_info

hapi.AttributeInfo used as input for what tuple size. you want. Also contains some sanity checks like data type. Generally should be the same struct returned by hapi.getAttributeInfo.

string_array

An array of strings at least the size of string_count/tt>.

string_count

Number of strings that are indexed.

indices_array

integer array at least the size of length * hapi.AttributeInfo.tupleSize. Each entry indexes string_array.

indices_start

First index of range. Must be at least 0 and at most hapi.AttributeInfo.count - 1.

indices_length

Must be at least 0 and at most hapi.AttributeInfo.count - start.
