Hi,
File chooser shows all video files (any format) as “error opening file.” Is this a limitation of Apprentice? I am able to open and display image files with no problem. It's just .mov, mpg, etc.

You can argue whether it is a limitation or not, but its not an Apprentice issue…

It's probably due to the vast variants of Video codecs/containers that are floating around.
I personally am just annoyed by that, but you can always export your movie to an image sequence which can be easily read in by houdini. (Check the box show sequence as one entry in the chooser)

Thanks WhoDjini, Sequences work like a charm, just wish I could grab the occasional .mp4 or .mov and run with it. Kevin
