Greetings!

I have Houdini Apprentice running on Windows 2000 and everything seems fine, except that my mouse pointer within Master has a ghostly ‘tail’ which looks like the version immediately prior to the pointer entering the Master window (i.e. it might look like a regular windows arrow, or a window-resize pointer…) I can mostly ignore it, but wonder if I can fix this.
My configuration is:
Windows 2000 SP2 with Directx 8.1
GeForce3 ti500 with 40.41 detonator driver
1.5GB RAM / Athlon XP1900
Epox 8kha+ motherboard

Thanks for any help!

Had the same problem, it's Nvidia's drivers. I now use 40.72 drivers and the phantom cursor is gone.

Thanks for that - I upgraded to the 41.09 driver and the problem is resolved.
