In shop, I can see there are some shader called MI_xxxxxShader. What is MI shader? Also, what situation do we use Ator shader? (alias to renderman?)

I believe MI stands for Mental Images, and those shaders would be used to render with Mental Ray, which is their renderer. And I presume the ATOR shaders are Renderman shaders that an ATOR user would expect to be available as default. But I've never used ATOR so I'm not sure of that last.
