I have apprentice and Engine for Unity.
Is their a trial version of Indie?
I want to test my 1st asset in Unity!

There is no trial for Houdini Indie. You'll have to buy it and have your asset converted to .hdalc (limited commercial) by emailing support@sidefx.com.
No license of Houdini Engine will allow assets created in Apprentice (.hdanc (non-commercial) to load in Unity so even if you get our free Houdini Engine Indie license you won't be able to load your asset.
In other words, Houdini Indie is not free while Houdini Engine Indie is free but will not allow loading of your .hdanc asset.
