Hi, I'm kind of confused with this situation:
I'm rendering an object as Matte and it appears on the Shading Depth pass, so far it's exactly what I want. But when I render it with “Render to Disk” or “Render to Disk in Background” (so it opens a hbatch session) it creates the whole frame, with the complete info and at the end it seems like it optimize the exr based on the color, so it crops the image to the part where we have C information.
It doesn't works that way when I send the renders to MPlay. All the frames are buffered into the MPlay and when I export the files sequence as exr it doesn't crop the output based on the C channel.
It's there a way to do not have this kind of crop optimization based on “C”?
Thanks in advance for the help!

- select your Mantra ROP
- Edit Rendering Parameters… and from the list choose Mantra/Meta Data/Set EXR Data Window (vm_setwxrdatawindow)
(that will select 4 parameters)
- add them to your Mantra ROP
- uncheck newly added Set EXR Data Window parm or specify other image planes to optimize exr bbox by
