Ground plane issue dop network

The particles are not seeing the ground plane correctly.
They stack at different levels over time.

Any ideas why this is happening?

You need to lock any external geometry in the hip file if you want other people to examine your setup.

I save it with the lock flag on. Hope that makes a difference.

For particles pscale is used for collision detection. The bigger it is, the bigger the offset to the collider. Your pscale starts at 1 and gets lower with age, which explains why you see those steps and the big offset. Simple fix: inherit anything but pscale in your particle source :
