Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to share this setup.
I was searching for a way to carve multiple curves with a random offset in one go.
I didn't want to use a loop so this is vex and sops.
mostly an exercise for myself, but maybe useful to somebody.
Cheers

Thanks this was very helpful. I often use a workflow that requires points crawling on curves, and a simplified version of this does that much more efficiently than any of the 4 methods I used prior.

if you look at the end result….12 lines…that should be roughly say 50 points all up…but look at the spreadsheet and there's over a thousand of them.

sure, stick in a fuse, simple….but fundamentally, to me it shouldn't get to the situation where you have thousands of points (piling up at starts/ends) then having to fuse them.

Maybe helpy, too.

Strongly inspired by: https://vimeo.com/104891696 [vimeo.com]
while working on the attached one (tentacles grab moving object)

attached wrangle needs some refinements for proper UVs and
it's for polylines only, but it's really fast in my opinion.
Should not produce unwanted points.
