emitting particles from animated curves/points

I'm trying to emit some particles from the result of a “cookie” SOP which gives me the intersection of the bottom of a boat.. and the sea…

such intersection its obviously changing shape over time .. but the “source” POP wont consider it .. it emit particles from the frame1 position of my points (or surface or edge, whatever)… where i'm doing wrong? (other than the approach which I'm sure its wrong to create the water splashes of a rolling boat…

Online
- use a Project SOP to project your boat onto the ocean
- use a Profile SOP to ‘extract’ the curve(s) that is the intersection of the boat and the ocean
- use the curve(s) as the source of your particles
