Adding different seed to a rand expresion

Hi, Im using this as a scrip in the stylesheet for random textures in crowds, the problem is that Im using different materials but the same expression in every script, so the random is the same in all the materials. In resume I need a to add a seed to the rand expresion for a different random. Anyone can help?
I dont know about scripting, Im just coping the script for a tutorial, please explanations like if a was a monkey.

My first thought is that id is supposed to be @id. Try replacing the rand function rand(@id) like this.
Using Houdini Indie 20.0
Windows 11 64GB Ryzen 16 core.
nVidia 3050RTX 8BG RAM.
