The Unreal Engine editor has a (beta) VR mode for their perspective viewport which allows to walk/fly through the current scene using a Virtual Reality headset (like Oculus or Vive).
It offers a nice immersion & gives you a better idea about the geometry & scene you are constructing.

I think, having a VR viewport mode in Houdini, could really increase productivity & open new possibilities either alone or together with realtime engines like Unreal or Unity (e.g. as you could preview in Houdini VR & don't have to first export assets after each change if you are working with Houdini engine together with Unreal or Unity and VR).

@SideFX: Is SideFX already working on a VR mode for the Houdini perspective Viewport ?
(While browsing through the HDK, I recognized pre-defined mode constants like Left/Right or Over/Under, but could
not find a way to activate such modes via the Houdini GUI, besides the option for Anaglyph Red/Green mode)

Thanks
