CONNECT PRIMITIVES WITH DIFFERENT EDGES

Hi guys i'm entirely new to Houdini. so many challenges to make an asset one of that is the given image with Houdini file. how to connect two primitives with different edges. Cup and Handle are the things. so need a great support to solve this.
