Hi,
I have problem with launching houdini

anyone can help me launch houdini?

the console is telling you that it can't create the icons and pref files - so this is a permissions error
can you run Houdini as Administrator?

when I run as administrator I have the same problems
and I can't change permision for that catalog

I had the same issue and was told it was the NVidia driver and needed an older one, she said 22.XX or some such

really I need older drivers for permision problems? I have drivers 388.59

yeah, that is the answer I got from support. I am running 23.21.13.8813 dated 27 oct 17, it works for me. windows 10 Geforce 950
