Hello all,
I have this simple simulation which is working well but I need to reduce the velocity after the collision, particles are going too far, I tried some parameters like “bounce” but it's not enough, anyone knows how I could do it ?
Thank you

Ray

Hmm I'm still new to FLIP particles sim in Houdini but I assume this is more of a practice instead of actual production shot, you can try increasing the gravity to reduce the bounce and slow down the time scale while increasing the speed of the initial emission.

It'll be better if you can post your HIP file for us to check.

Thank you, yes I'm experimenting. I tried a bit with gravity and time scale but I'm afraid it all becomes a bit unpredictable, now I'm trying to add some viscosity and it seems to help, I'll post some advancement
