Convert and export Pyro FX to Particles

Hello Guys ,
I am really happy to try the apprentice version of Houdini and finally to be able to do all those simulations I was not able to do in other software.
I am trying to understand if it is possible to convert a simple pyro fx ( explosion or smoke ) into a particle system and import it in 3dsmax .
My final goal is to find a way to render fluids/ smoke Houdini effects into Keyshot render engine that actually in the version 7 cannot import VDB files and have no connection plugin with Houdini, so my idea was to convert Pyro fx in particles ,import particles in 3dsmax and try to import in Keyshot through the Max plugin .

Have anyone idea how convert PyroFX in a particle system readable by 3DSmax?
