Qt 5 library and houdini_setup

Hi,

When I try to launch QtCreator from the command line after running source houdini_setup, I get the following error:
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "".
Running ldd libqxcb.soreturns:
./libqxcb.so: /opt/hfs16.5/dsolib/libQt5Core.so.5: version `Qt_5.10' not found (required by ./libqxcb.so)
It works fine if source houdini_setuphas not been called.

Is there any way to overcome this?

  • Ubuntu 16.04
  • Houdini 16.5.378
  • Qt 5.10.1
