Hi everyone, Here (In the Attached file) I have 6 separate bones riveted to a NURBS surface, when I capture a tube geometry using these bones, I have no clue what the deformations are doing, even when painting capture weights it's not doing whats expected. Where am I messing up? Thanks in advanced.

your capture regions became offset from your bones (you can see they don't match by displaying the bonecapturelines SOP)- to fix this:
put your NURBS surface back to normal
select all your bones
Rigging Shelf > Align Capture Pose
you should see a notification about the number of bones aligned

now you can move your NURBS ribbon

Ahh OK, thanks for that, not sure why the offset happened but now I know how to fix it.

once you've captured any geometry with a bone, it's capture region is set that position, if you then reposition the bone the capture region will become offset - hence the shelf tool.

@arctor gotcha, great to know, I'm delving into the capture region SOP to truly understand its inner workings.
