Hi All,

I am new to Houdini, and am currently learning it and finding my way through its own personality, but in a recent setup I have come up with an issue that I cannot solve, so any help would be much appreciated.

Basically, 20 X Mantra render nodes get created each time I move in and out of object level, not only does this create a 10 second or so lag while it does this it is, but I do not use Mantra for rendering (I am using Arnold).

Let me know if any of you have any thoughts and in the mean time I will try to resolved it.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, that is, that Mantra nodes get created on their own. Can't say when, but over 250 so far.
Any solution?
Edit: Just went from Render View to Scene View and 28 Mantra nodes where created. And that is repeatable. A new scene, same behavior with 2 Mantra nodes created.
Forgot to tell: I'm on Houdini 16.5.536.
Edit1: Now it's the same as with the thread starter; plenty of Mantra nodes get created when I go from Geo to Obj level.
