Hello!

I have a simple question, with hopefully a simple answer. I have a bunch of particles colored differently, and I give them an alpha in a point wrangle - works in the viewport, not in the mantra render. How is this fixed?

I have noticed a couple of related posts, differentiating transparency and opacity, etc etc. In most of them the solution is not clearly explained, and the rest of them are not applicable to Houdini 16. Also, I cant find any sidefx documentation on this.

As suggested in one post, I did try creating a principal shader, edit contents, add alpha in a bind export, and connect the bound Alpha to computeligting opacity, but this did not work (I applied the shader by creating a material node right after the point wrangle).

Any help / clarity on this issue would be most appreciated.

Thanks!
