Hi,

Im fairly new to Houdini, im using it for a Uni 3D modelling project. Any way, as part of my project I am trying to create a set of stairs that some balls will bounce down. I would like to know if it is possible to copy an RBD object, like the copy operator found in SOPs, and displace each copy by a set amount ie, 0,1,-1 to create a set of stairs. I have been able to do it in SOPs and import that geometry into an RBD object, but then the Collision Guide Geography is all screwed up and the animation takes ages to play.

Anyone willing to help me

Thanks.

Yes. You bring in a single step geometry into your RBD Object, increase the number of copies to some number, say 10, and then use $OBJ as a reference for each copy. See the attached.
