Nvidia driver 396.24 (on Ubuntu 17.10)

Hi

Anyone have luck with latest Nvidia driver 396.24?

I'm on Ubuntu 17.10 and tried several recent Houdini builds, none launched.

16.5.432 works but 16.5.442 breaks with:

opt/hfs16.5.442$ houdini
terminate called after throwing an instance of ‘HOM_NotAvailable’
