I am trying to replicate the behaviour of the Follow Position Force in the Dynamics tag of Cinema 4D.

Basically I want to clone (copy to points) boxes onto a deforming mesh (animated character, etc.).
The clones should respect the animation but also be dynamic and collide with each other.

If I set the Initial Object Type on the rbdpackedobject to “Create Deforming Active Objects” it does kind of what I want but with some weird results for my constraints. Pieces breaking of but still animate along. Looks really strange.

I tried to set it to active object and use a sop solver to play around with the active state but can't get it to work.

Has anyone tried/done this? Or do you have suggestions how to approach it?

Thanks!
