I want to replace some text of the Houdini File(.hip).When I try to replace it Physically the file gets Corrupt.I know a function opchange Which is used to replace in Houdini file but I want to replace text without opening Houdini.Can i replace text using Terminal or Command line ?

Did you save the hip file as Text? The default is binary, which won't react well to replacements.

No I saved file as a hip file which works fine before Replacement of text
