Hey guys,

Trying to figure out if there is a way to “cheat” filling a volume faster with FLIP fluids.

I have a glass that I am pouring liquid into and I feel like the rate at which it is filling my volume is accurate, im just wondering if there's a way to speed it up, basically I'd like to cheating the volume of the fluid a little bit. If I remember correctly, in Real Flow for example if you increased internal pressure the particles would “take up more space” in the glass.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Christian

Hey,

So I am checking “Add Divergence Field” in the Flip Fluid Object and also checking “Divergence by Attribute” in the Flip Solver and set the Divergence Scale to 2000 (just to troubleshoot), however I get this error message on the Flip Solver:

Warning
update_divergence_field:
Warning: flipfluidobject - /obj/AutoDopNetwork/flipsolver1/update_divergence_field: Required attribute divergence is missing.
flipfluidobject - /obj/AutoDopNetwork/flipsolver1/update_divergence_field: Required attribute divergence is missing.

What is the attribute that is missing?

Ah. Solved by adding pop wrangle and adding “@divergence = 0.8;” to it.
