Hello peeps!
I want to do something really simple but for some reason it isn't working… I have an attribute P1 that I want to use in the distance scale of my polyextrude. For some reason the extrusions are infinite. Does anybody know why is that?

cheers!

P1 needs to be a primitive attribute.

I fixed it but I believe it is because the numbers are huge since they represent population. When I tried to fit the attribute in a range from 0 to 1, I got the same value for all the attributes and the polyextrude doesn't work. I tried also to divided the attribute but again the polyextrude does not work.

Hi anasvout,
i attached a scene for you.
Maybe one tip: set the Distance to 1
now it will extrude as much as the value of the attribute you put into distance scale as this is a multiplier.

Also your population mihgt be in interger and not in float… that could be an issue…

Anyway look at the attached file. I hope it helps you

greetings

Olaf
