Good morning! I would need help to make a simple animation.

I have a c4d movie scene with a “magic” rainbow it appears in the scene and must disappear in a cloud of magic smoke.

I would like to know how to achieve this smoke effect a bit like a smoke screen that serves to make the rainbow disappear.

With you advices to give me tracks or tutorials to explore to learn to animate smoke, I thought to myself that if I import the object of my rainbow it could serve as emitter, but I don't know where to start and what settings I must manipulate to control the smoke ( aspect, duration, movement)

This is a request from a customer and I would really like to satisfy his need. I intend to reintegrate the volume of smoke in c4d using this method

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEtmtvMBD8A&t=39s [www.youtube.com]

I did that in a few minutes, but spar against I can't figure out how to stop the emitter?
I think that by playing with these basic settings I can already get by but I would just like to cut the smoke emission after a number of images

Thank you for your help!
