has anyone else ever come across this issue?

I have a fresh install of 16.5 on win10 pro. as soon as i open up the application it's fine, i open up a drop down tab and the text is enlarged as if it's been scaled up. try to scroll through, Houdini UI begins to freak out, crashes.

This happens in under a minute, consistently.

I've tried to work with support to try to solve this issue but to no avail. instead they move towards refunding me and that's great and all but i really need to use this application, it will be a tool i have to utilize in the future at a different studio that uses this application.

any help would be great!

I have all the updated drivers for nvidia on gtx 1080.
