I would like to use the xnoise function inside the OpenCl node, but beside the button “Include Simplex Noise Data” and the description

“Include an opaque pointer that can be passed to the simplex noise functions in <xnoise.h> to generate simplex noise and curlnoise from OpenCL kernels”

I can't find any information how to use it.

Does someone has more information about noises in OpenCL + Houdini?

Thanks

I was wondering the same thing, then I realised there's a good example inside the Gas Turbulence DOP, in the openCL pathway that is.

I know this is an old topic but just posting for the benefit of anyone else who googled this like I did.

Do a search for xnoise.h in your Houdini installation folder. That's the file with the definitions you can include in your kernels. Not sure I can post it for license reasons.
