Hello im new on linux and a need help to install nvidia optix , i have followed this step http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/render/optixdenoiser.html [www.sidefx.com] .

but in the env file i need to copy and past this ? HOUDINI_NVIDIA_OPTIX_DSO_PATH and the name of my folder ? “optixlibs-5.1-linux-x86_64” like that ?

i have the optix folder in the same folder of the env file


HOUDINI_NVIDIA_OPTIX_DSO_PATH optixlibs-5.1-linux-x86_64

Please use the full path.
e.g.
HOUDINI_NVIDIA_OPTIX_DSO_PATH = /home/yourusername/houdini17.0/optixlibsdir
