Hey, I was wondering, is there anyway that I can get an image sequence as a texture on a static piece of geometry? I know how to do this in Maya, but for the life of me can't figure out a way to do it in Houdini (I'm betting I'm missing the simple solution).

It would need to work like the “Free Image Plane” in Maya, where it displays and is animated in the viewport.

You can use $F in the texture field of your applied geometry material! Take a look at the attached file in the mat context there is a principledshader that uses an image sequence as a basecolor texture!

Thank you so much! The example file helped a lot too. I was able to successfully replicate it and it works now. Thanks again!
