Polybevel does not work on Curves?

I am watching a tutorial where they are making a pipe thing and like step 3 is to polybevel the curve and it's not working for me - Houdini 17

is this a known thing or maybe I am doing something wrong?

it does work on polygonal curves, just make sure Group Type is set to Points
